Since the Afro-house sound emerged in the ’00s, Nkosinathi Maphumulo—known as Black Coffee—has led the genre. The South African DJ and producer became the first African to win a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, elevating him to household-name status, though dance music enthusiasts worldwide had long known his work.
He has headlined numerous global music festivals, including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Miami and now, we are honoured to welcome him for the first time at Café del Mar, Phuket.
